While waiting for my partner in adventure to finish up her errands in Bree-town, I decided to stop by the Craft Hall to pick up a few supplies. But… something was amiss.

The red rug that usually adorned the floor had been replaced by one made of skin!

Giants, from the look of it. I reeled around to see if anyone else had noticed.. but the craft hall attendants appeared to be twisted versions of their former selves.

Flesh replaced by plaster and wood!

A mess of buttons where faces used to be!

Clothing made from scalps! I fell backwards in fright and hit my head on the floor… and that’s when I spotted them.

Strange runes were covering the ceiling. Despite being a Scholar and Historian, I couldn’t place their origin or meaning.. but I had a feeling that they were the cause of this nightmare. I jumped to my feet and rubbed the sore spot on the back of my head.. but once again, something wasn’t quite right.

The runes were affecting me as well! Where hair once was, there was now fabric. Everyone in the craft hall was turning into crafting materials! Panicked and unsure of what to do, I made a dash for the door and yanked on the bizarre doorknob.

Much to my relief, It opened with ease… but the craft hall wasn’t about to let me go free. As I opened the second door that lead to the outside world, I was knocked off of my feet by an inexplicable torrent of water. It continued to gush in through the door, spraying me in the face and flooding the room. I coughed and sputtered as the water entered my lungs. Everything began to fade and I knew that my adventure was coming to an end. Darkness, and then.. a hard slap on the cheek.

Wha… Wait… What?

I awoke in the Bree-town fountain. Eraewen was peering down at me with a look of disapproval. “Where are your pants?” she asked.

That’s the last time I drink from the Inn League Keg.
