As my younger brother Arrant makes his way through Eriador news of my cousin Kleptomir has now reached me as well. I fear what his bringing might mean, and the haste at which he comes sends shivers down my spine.  Kleptomir’s story is a sad one with many holes in it and although my heart hopes to hear good news I can only assume the worst.

Kleptomir is my uncle’s only son. He was orphaned after his father and my mother’s other brother were killed in the hills of Emyn Arnen. Kleptomir’s father Kloptavion was wounded by a fellow soldier in an accidental friendly fire moment which caused Kleptomir resentment for the duty his father was bound to uphold. Kleptomir became a troubled adolescent and frequently took to thievery as a way of acting out.

As Kleptomir grew older his reputation declined in Gondor and he set out to find other places to despoil. I heard of his banishment in Rohan as well as ill dealings with traveling elves who were lifted of precious jewels and musical instruments. My heart grew heavier with every bit of news that reached me as I fear that one day a reckoning will come and since Arrant and I are the closest thing he has to a family we shall be the ones who must face him.

Many times I have tried to shun his very existence as a tarnished family member can sometimes sully even the best of names, but recently I overheard woodland elves of Lorien tell of a strange event that took place near Bree. It seems that a certain burglar was spotted stealing something from one of the men of Bree who aided the Dark Riders. What was stolen no one knows, but I fear that Kleptomir’s life may be in danger and the fact that he has been seen giving aid to those around Bree in what appears to be a following of mine and Arrant’s footsteps leads me to believe that he is being pursued. Could it be that Kleptomir has decided to pursue a noble path or does he have ulterior motives? I’m afraid I need more information before I make up mind. My only question now is who will reach me first, Arrant or Kleptomir?

Word has reached my ears of an up and coming Warden whom I am most proud of.  My little brother Arrant is now journeying through Forochel and I expect him anytime now in Eregion and then to hopefully meet up with me in Moria. While I have done many great and noble deeds in Moria there is still much that needs to be done and I welcome my brother’s shield and spear. The road is still long, but I expect to be reunited with him soon. Farewell.

While we were breaking during our riftrun the other night I did the unthinkable. I took advantage of our downtime to add not a poor defenseless NPC to my ladies list, but two of my very own kinswomen. Here are the first two “live” women to fall under my charms!

Last night I had the pleasure of finding two women who found me irrestible. One of them I even remembered to get her name!

Friday night I went up to Forochel where I met another young honey. Needless to say she fell for my charms.

Not the most attractive, but I dont discriminate.

My Captain Blatant is quite the ladies man in Middle Earth. To prove this I will be posting pics of all of my honey’s. BE WARNED! This is not for the jealous type!

I am a little slow to join the MyLotro phase only just seeing the opening of it today. I must say this site is cool and considering I have some downtime at work I should be able to post regularly. So who am I, where do I hail from and what am I doing in Middle Earth?

Well this account is my families 3rd. We started out with two, but when you have kids and they want to play too, its sometimes hard to kick them off when they are in the middle of something really exciting, and after doing so once too often my wife and I justified it by adding a Healer account. Neither of us had healers on our main accounts so in this way we were able to create an account where a healer class could e created which might help us with our mains because we have all been down that road when you need a minstrel for a BIG mission, but they all seem to be preoccupied.

My wife created Sabiel a beautiful elf Minstrel. Our kids had their fun and created some alts, but I strongly emphasize they continue with their mains so they can reap the benefits of advanced level play. I created Blatant, a colourful Captain. By colourful I mean that quite literally as I made his skin dark brown. My reasons for this were that I wanted a character who stood out and yet also I have found in my travels around ME a lack of diversity in some respects.

Well there you have it, a proper introduction albeit a little later than some. I will keep updating this blog as the characters are played. Blatant should be getting some play really soon as he is a level 46 and I am wanting to sneak in and grab a legendary weapon. My brother-in-law wants to sneak in with me, but he has to reach level 45 before that can happen. See ya in-game!
