Dawnbreak on the eve of the final battle
this is the account of the last Krahjarn
The sea glistened in the cursed light as storm clouds formed on the horizon. The air swirled with a hint of chaos. The tide had turned…
An Urukai’s eyes are black and unwavering, a steely resolve that to gaze upon them is to know the darkest of voids. Yet as this Blackarrow peered across the ocean, they began to turn a crimson red.
Blinding became the suns rays as dawn crested above the waters edge. A dark figure stood in contrast to the shimmering current. At first one, then many. The unmistaken sign of invasion became clear. Warships descended upon the alcove reminiscent of the bloody shores centuries ago, casting a long ominous shadow upon our land.
The persians had arrived.
back at the uruk forward command post
“Master. A fleet of warships have arrived from the north!” exclaimed the BA scout.
“Summon the Taskmaster”, bellowed the Warleader Chieftan. “Our armies are ready this time…”
Meanwhile in the city of Angmar…
“Our numbers are strong. The 2nd and 4th legion are back to full strength. 8th has been replenished with warg riders fresh from the training grounds. The reavers armour and weapons have been upgraded to steel plate. Rest of the army is well fed and ready for battle.” quoted Taskmaster Uruk Bubbadoll from the report.
“Excellent. The might of Angmar shall be felt by all of middle earth once more!”, the reciprocal defiler of the Great Eye exclaimed.
“Sire! Our northern scouts report. Hundreds of vessels line the shore. Looks like persians, the Chieftan added.” screamed Bro, Commander of the Blackarrows.
“Then the time has come. Mobilise the 3rd, 8th & 9th legions.” Taskmaster Bubba ordered.
Bro acknowledges, turns to run out the door
“Oh, and summon the 13th. Sokar’s been dying to see them in battle”, she added.
“Of course, master.” Bro leaps onto his warg and rides off to deliver the orders
“Nhhhahh… aaa…. are you sure that is wisseeee? Young Taskmaster?”, asked the defiler.
“Can’t do any harm. And you know we’ll never hear the end of it if we dont!” explained the somewhat disgruntled Taskmaster.
back at the beach head, the forces of the free peoples unload onto the shore and began setting up camp
