I wanted to thank Lilyberry and Alyesse for getting me into this game. It has been a blast so far and the RP has been great. I look forward to doing more, especially when the skirmishes come out and we can do small group ones.
I do plan on writing more stories from Nevaros soon.
ps the avatar is “Half-breed” by Lilyberry. Her renders rock my socks.

My father called for me to come aid him in any snowy land to the north of Evendim, the map makers call it Forochel. He knew I was without a banner to call to and he needed my help. He’s a very bookish elf, concerned about Lore and happenings of the past. It had been nearly fifty years since I had heard from him. Some would suppose that is the natural order between an elf and his half-elf son. It is not the case, he is simply a little daft. Getting so caught up in his books that he forgets just about everything, he loves me more than his books he just has never been at good at being a father to a warrior than he has at collecting and using lore. Instead of showing me how to hold a spear and shield properly he handed me no less than three hundred books, scrolls, treatise on wardens, proper use of the spear against all various manners of creatures of evil, how to best use a shield as both a defensive tool and an offensive weapon. Those books help me set upon my path which now led into the land of the ice and cold.
It was so cold there I rarely removed any of my protective garments, even when I slept, so the men there could not learn of my heritage. Some ponder why a half-elf would have any troubles, but I look more like my mother physical appearance. When I was young the Dale villagers often snidely remarked that I was an elf in a man’s body. Using the same emphasis that they do for a warg in sheep’s skin. Such verbal barbs no longer bother me, all of them are long dead and I’ve learned to make the most of my mixed worlds. Fighting in the style of the elvish wardens, but using a heavier spear and shield. Blast, I’ve gone off again, perhaps it is because my hand so shakes when I write this I long to remember warmer climates.
The men here are different though. Everyone and everything not born from one of their clan’s womb is an outsider until their actions win merit, though you’re still an outsider, just one they happen to like. They wouldn’t even tell me which village he was staying in, something he neglected to say in his letter, until I did a number of tasks such as hunting elk or slaying saber-toothed cats. It seems they have a few problems with gauradans, driven to bold and stupid actions by Agmar. I happened to slay a number of them early on the second day. They in their big fancy red robes, in the snow, I suppose the color makes sense if you consider the color of the snow after I was done.
That is all for now, the others are waking and I still have not met with my father.

On using this site that is. Being a Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server ( MOSS ) admin and software developer in my work life, I find the lack of control a little bit annoying. But I am also stressed and tired so I’m likely being stupid, like not finding where to edit my player profile, and I get the feeling fields aren’t showing up in Firefox 3.5 I’ll take a look through the CSS and the page source a little later ( read tomorrow ) to verify that…. . I plan on using this for both some player updates and Character updates.
I want to thank Lil and Eve for letting me into their guild and getting me into this game. Its a nice break for when I need to get away from SWG, and is a bit more satisfying than AoC.
