About Me:
I am 23 years of age and working on my bachelors degree in game simulation and programming. I love playing mmorpg's and very new to LOTRO. I switched over from WOW to take a break and this is a very refreshing game compared. I play many and all the games that I can including - Age of Conan, World of Warcraft, Lineage II, Hellgate London (before the online option went down) and many more countless games. My dream is to one day open my very own gaming company and bring all my ideas into reality along with publish a series of fantasy books. I hope this has been an intriguing introduction and thank you for reading.

After my skirmish with the dwarves I met with a man who insisted we assault their encampment to save an Elven prince. To be honest I knew very little of such events before very recently. Alas, we fought our way through the multiple Dwarven outposts and nearly reached the prisoner when my accomplice became mortally wounded and we had to retreat. I can suffer the retreat, as I am content with my life still being intact. I will attempt another rescue when my ally has been well rested and I am better prepared.

Following this defeat I left in search of a new quest, my journey led me to a band of dwarves who wished the defeat of a goblin chieftain. The journey was treacherous in the cold winds, but I discovered the goblin city. The bodies of those who had recently tried to breach the city littered the ground and the stench of rotted and cooked flesh lingered in the air. The city was heavily guarded as each attempt I made to move forward was followed by their horrific cries of warning. Viciously they swarmed me, snapping, drooling, in attempt to sink their fowl teeth into my flesh. With my shield I was capable of keeping two of the beasts at bay while my mace occupied the other. However they were not prepared for my quickness and the goblin fighting to the left of me caught my shield with its horrid face. The snap of its neck startled the other two gaining me some extra time. Quickly I hooked the goblin to the right of me with my mace; the monsters weak legs were quickly defeated. Now with only one goblin standing the battle advantage had shifted in my favor…a grin shining on my pale face sent shivers through the ugly creature for he new defeat was near. In a desperate attempt to catch me unprepared the creature leapt with a vengeful cry… sadly for the goblin… it only managed to catch the bulk of my mace buried deeply into its gut, elegantly spinning on the tip on my feet twirled my mace with added force connecting with the defeated goblins head, blood danced through the air like rain. The remaining goblin attempted to flee from my presence, my elven feet was the quicker though and the snapping of its spine in two opened my path to the goblin chieftain. The battle was fierce as four of his minions charged my position. Not waiting to be surrounded I began a charge of my own, my shield leading the way. For the goblins only their heads lead the charge and unfortunately for them my shield proved the stronger as the remains of their brains flew through the air. The next two goblins proved a slightly harder challenge as they were holding shields of their own. Still the handled them clumsily and with little to no skill, their blood soon stained the ground a murky red. Their chieftain readied himself as I approached him did now cower like the others or charge in desperately hoping to have a lucky strike…no…he knew better than that. I met his gaze, he knew why I was there and clearly new the skill I held in combat. We studied each other for sometime before we both charged in combat…our shields met, my size pushed the creature back but he was quick to react with a roll to the side. If my speed had been any less his hatchet would have claimed my ankle. Again we circled one another neither side wanting to back down though we both knew the outcome. Not wanting to draw the battle out and give the chieftain any sense of hope I spirited to my foe who immediately readied himself for my assault. My shield caught his weapon but what my foe did not realize was that I had dropped to the ground and tucked into a roll keeping my shield up and still facing my enemy. My weapon crashed into the legs of the goblin chieftain and when I rose to my feet I was standing above the defeated creature. With a swift strike with the base of my mace the goblins face caved in…his life now over.

After my battle with the goblins I ventured out into the world to temporarily escape the problems plaguing my mind…unfortunately I only found more problems. It was not as horrid as I previewed some elven housing that I admit intrigued me as I continue to struggle with the thought of leaving or staying. From there I traversed through the shire and met and interesting Hobbit called Adelobly who treated me to a fine meal and some warm music.

From there I made my way into Bree and stayed a short while before making my way to Archet whose recent destruction intrigued me, while fishing at a nearby pond a met with a young maiden…human…but just as stunning as any elf I have ever met. She struck my curiosity first by her hair… white as the snow that fall in the Dwarven Mountains. This follow by a harsh scar upon her face, still it did very little to diminish her stunning brilliance.

I escorted her through the forests of the area and helped her conquer the evil there, once we had finished I helped her to the city of Bree and it is there we said farewell. I now continue my travel back to where I started to finish what I have started.

Arieath of Lorien: An Introduction

Posted On: May 31st, 2009

Born from the Golden Woods of Lorien, I have been blessed with the Elvish name meaning Elf of the eternal silver. It is a good name that I hold with with blessed thanks, for it is all I have left in this world. The true meaning behind these words for now is of no consequence. I am young to this world still, barely into my second stage of life, yet I hold the wisdom of many years within my eyes. Sorrow nearly conquered my spirit in my younger years as I lost my parents during the great wars…for my parents one could simply not live without the other.  Those around me nearly gave up thinking me lost to them, then for no reason my heart opened again giving me a second chance at life. I have been told that my parents spirits joined my own their very essence making me whole once again. I grew and learned the ways of the world including the art of combat that I studies most passionately thinking to garner justice for my parents death. I now stand torn to travel west upon a boat of white and leave a conflicted world behind, or stay to bring closure to my parents passing and perhaps find love. I am now conflicted as those I have grown with leave and the morals that tear my heart to pieces. For now I help who I can and continue this conflict against the aggressive and stubborn Dourhands. To this end I have been successful in this endeavor I only hope my luck will carry out for I have yet to fall in battle and the harsh cold grasp of death can be felt ever more the deeper I wander through this world.
