Grace of the Valar sent 2 Fellowships into Skumfil to get some new pants.  My group, lead by Korman, managed to get a pair for each of us.  I also snagged the Earring that drops from the boss.  We finally had a rhythm down to the point where our runs were less than 15 minutes.  Afterwards, we did a great run on the easy-mode Queen.  The second group was not so lucky however.  We finally started swapping in characters, but at one point, they were back to their original crew, plus the LM from our group.  Our successful makeup?  1 Guardian, 1 Minstrel, 1 Loremaster, 1 Burglar, 2 Champions.

Since I was already in the Shadow Refuge, I decided to help out a Champion who was looking to do his class-quest.  I normaly don’t like working with PUGs (lack of coordination, Roll/Pass vs. Need/Greed/Pass, etc.), but this one managed just fine, mostly because the Minstrel had run it before.  We took quite a few deaths while fighting the Champ-boss, but were able to release and run back with no problem.  After helping out the Champ, we decided to take on the Skumfil-king as well.  Turns out that he is about as easy to take out as the Queen, and he was kind enough to leave me the coin for the Purple-legs.

Worn-out and in need of repairs, I headed back to the 21st Hall, where the Miners were glad to take the items I had recovered for them.  They were so grateful, that they now consider me one of their Kindred, and after much deliberation among their peers, decided to let me purchase one of their fine Goats!

Sarkaa - Bounty-hunter?

I asked one of our Kin’s crafters to make me a high-level shield yesterday, but got told that the shield from the Grand Stair Hard-run - Wall of the Resolute Guardian - was better than what he could make.  So we formed up and and successfully completed it, which was my first time doing so (completing, not running).  Unfortunately, my shield didn’t drop, but I did get my +Radiance boots!

We all had time for another run, and managed to complete it again.  2nd time, no shield.  I apparently got confused with all of the loot-windows, and somehow hit ‘Need’ on the Boot coin.  And won.  I really feel like shit over getting it a second time, and hope I didn’t piss off my Kin in doing so.  I think the description on the coin could be a little more clear on what its used for, like the items for the bartered gear that drop in CD/Uru.  The +Radiance coins make *no* mention of what it is bartered for.

On another note, I got mailed the Flawless Scale of Lhugrien that one of my kin was going to give me from our Urugarth run over the weekend.  We made the run 5 times, but only hit the Drake once.  I simply could not stick around for another, but one of our Kin had an extra Scale for me.  I decided to hit the AH for the Warg Keepers Token and Sigil of War (the last run would’ve been for my Sigil), and got them both for less than 1.5 Gold!  Yargax will be happy to know that I completed my Class-quest, and got the Legendary Trait, To The King.

Next up, trying to solo the mobs in Foundations of Stone so I can collect my Nameless Heads.

Sarkaa ran around Eregion with Eronelle and Quietstorm.  It was pretty much Quietstorm 1-shotting everything while we followed though.  After our uber-Hunter left, I helped Eronelle with a few quests, like that blasted Troll-cave.  First time we tried to do it, Eronelle brought some of the local wildlife with her.  We were *right* at the entrance, but couldn’t enter, since they had rooted up, and ended up dying.  Second attempt had me crashing right as I entered, and I got stuck in a 10-minute “Loading Screen Freeze”.  Logged in another character, and had her boot me from the Fellowship.  This worked, and I decided to get us some help, since I had tried to duo it with a LM and failed.  I put out a shout on LFF, and ended up with a PUG of members that were all running around like headless chickens, all over the map.  We were able to finish up, but as it was getting late, I dropped group and headed to Gwingris for some Legendary/Relic data-gathering.
