2) There is a “Add Media” button where you can add files to your media libarary and it has a BATCH uploader!! Woot! Sweetness!

Destiny Awaits…

(0 votes, average: 0 out of 5)Hi all, Its been quite some time since i've updated the News. To say we've had quite a few adventures since then is quite an understatement. I've taken a couple thousand screenshots that i might sift through one day. The shot above though really reflects my current mood, reflecting upon the past months & years, plus thinking toward future. As many of my members know i'm very private with my RL info, but i'd like to share, for those that missed it, that i had grown quite ill over the past years and it became neccesary this year that have surgury to help the situation. Thus the lack of site updates, plus attacks upon our sites & a general burn out from updating of site due to just not feeling up to it. The good news is i've fully recovered over the past 6 months & strong as ever! Big Thanks to the support of our Members, i've been able to play without worry or stress. I'd like to mention the great effort put forth by Fyre & Heavensblade to keep things going, including paying for the kin house and taking care of the many other Kin related issues, which is often a thankless job. THANK YOU! I'd like to hear FROM ALL MEMBERS PAST & PRESENT, I invite you to jump in and just say hello &/or participate where you think we should go from here. *bows with much respect* *and Renewed Strength* - Kismet
Hey all, Got inspired to post here on our site (im back btw & have around 1100 screenshots in my screenshots folder to look through). Sadly though our site is acting funny today, so i thought i'd give our ROD my.lotro page at shot. News Updated there. Working on how to Wrap that site into ours... - Kismet
Please see our kin website on LOTRO RoD to view our event calendar. Also, I would like everyone to post a comment to this news article. Please list the rad pieces you need, as I will be scheduling our rad runs on our event calendar (also will schedule them on GKA's event calendar for you to sign up there). I'm not sure if we can 'sign up' on our event calendar, but at least it's a place you can go and know it's coming. Otherwise, please see the GKA website post in the forums for how to join the GKA forums and sign up for events on their event calendar. (If we can sign up for events on ours then we'll do it there as well). Thanks! ~Lothi (P.S. Will announce kin uniform at a later date)
Hey everyone point your browsers to our Ring of Destiny mylotro site. Im gonna be looking at and discussing with officers & members on how best to use this site to hopefully help with updating with our latest news and info about the Kin & our members. While i've been taking an extended break from the news page, mainly due to having issues with my Tower machine which is sadly in the shop to be fixed. I do have some plans & projects in the works that i'd really like to do for our site that really will help members. Please post your suggestions & ideas on our forums of what you'd like to see! Also if your a past member check this out: XFIRE This will give you the ability (looks at Cal) to talk with the team, even if your not currently playing LOTRO. Kinda like a Vent/Teamspeak. Where still working out the details, but please give it a try and give us some feedback on our forums! Best wishes & See you in game! - Kismet Oh and check out my page at: http://my.lotro.com/lord_kismet/
Ok, so HB was thinking (and I agreed) that it'd be really neat if we had a 'kinship outfit' to wear when we group hunted together or w/GKA groups. So I went through the AH, bought all the different outfits that weren't dresses (sry guys, I just KNOW you were looking forward to wearing some of those elegant dresses out there as I've heard many comments on how hot you look in this dress, etc. :P) and went through colors on each of them and narrowed our selection down to 5. So here they are for your voting pleasure! The polls will be open until 2/15, so vote on your favorite outfit!!! **Be sure to click on comments below and the poll will show up on the upper right hand side**
Hi All, After trying Book 15.12 at lev 50 I came to realize that it is too crazy tough for that level, the hardest of the epic lines so far. This of course was after 10 attempts to kill the boss (you know how stubborn i can be, :P). I also discovered that the boss you fight for 1/2 hour is actually not the final boss, in fact you need at least a couple hours to run through the whole thing. The Gray Horse (White horse as I call it) will greatly keep you from getting knocked off while riding. I've tested it a ton and boy is it GREAT! I don't want to spoil it for anyone who wishes to keep it a mystery. But you should know you should try at lev 52+, have couple hours set aside and find the very best group you can. I'd like to throw out a HUGE thank you to TheMagician who didn't have the quest, but who stuck in there with us to finish it. Big thanks to Strumz a most exceptional healer and of course our mighty Varwe who took on a crazy ton of mobs on himself and kept on rocking! Really Great Group! Some Legendary Items Basic info: Forty-eight relics that can be acquired and slotted into Legendary Items Relics do not take up inventory space, they are held in a special relic pool in the Legendary Item panel. Relics are yours alone and cannot be traded to other players. Three types of relics: Settings, Gems, and Runes. Settings = all tiers. Gems = tier 2. Runes = tier 4. Relic Forging = higher then tier 4 (combines lower tier relics into higher tier relics at the Relic-master NPC.) Five tier 1 = one tier 2 relic Five tier 2 = one tier 3 relic etc.... Five of each tier type (such as tier 1) can be combined to create one next level tier relic (such as tier 2). This destroys those relics and then creates at least one random tier 2 relic, and potentially creates other relics. Occasionally you’ll have a critical success which can produce relics up to three tiers higher than the tier you combined. Heritage Runes can be used to add item experience to Legendary Items Level 1 legendary (deconstructed) = single tier 1 Relic Level 2 legendary (deconstructed) = at least three relics (tier 1 relics and occasionally up to max tier 4) Deconstruction of a level 50 Legendary Item can create a heritage rune with over a million experience points in it! Legendary Item Quests = These quests give out a good chunk of IXP for completing them & are repeatable. Item Titles = the “Defender of the Forgotten West” title changes the weapon’s damage type to Beleriand. Titles can change damage types, add skill damage, add Slayer mods, increase defensive properties, and potentially much more. All of the titles except damage type have three tiers, with the higher tiers providing larger bonuses. New Search in Auction Hall: You can search for +Might items, items that add to your bleed pulse count, or items that increase healing. When searching for Legendary Items, you can specify the number of legacies on the item from unidentified up to four, and you can select the minimum tier quality for those legacies. You should be able to zero in on the item you’re looking for with these features. New Trait Levels Chart (and what you get at each level): Slot 1 Slot 2 Slot 3 Slot 4 Slot 5 Slot 6 Slot 7 Virtue Lvl 7 Lvl 9 Lvl 11 Lvl 17 Lvl 23 − − Race Lvl 13 Lvl 19 Lvl 25 Lvl 31 Lvl 37 − − Class Lvl 15 Lvl 21 Lvl 27 Lvl 33 Lvl 39 Lvl 53* Lvl 57* Legendary Lvl 41 Lvl 45 Lvl 60* − − − − * Slot added for The Lord of the Rings Online: Mines of Moria. To help with inventory management, we?ve modified most quest items so that they are no longer stored in your inventory, but are instead stored in the Quest Journal. This means that those boar hides you are looking for will no longer be cluttering up your inventory and will now be found in the journal. If you are curious about those quest items and would like to examine them, you still can. You?ll just need to navigate to the quest in the journal and hover over the item there, just like you would with an item in your regular inventory. By the way, you may have noticed we ?ve said that ?most ? items have been removed from your inventory. A few quest items cannot since they are usable in some fashion. Items that cannot be removed from your inventory are: Letters or other readable objects Quest items given for Crafting Quests Items that can be traded to other players or listed on the auction house. Items that must be used as part of the Quest. Quest starter Items All other items should be no longer be stored in your inventory. Key rings are in! Permanent keys can now be clicked on to be added to a Key Ring section of your traits. Doing so will delete the key, and any doors that were opened by the keys now look for the trait. A new, never-before-seen mount waits to be discovered! The cooldown on Edelharn Tokens has been reduced from 60 to 15 minutes! Once any of your characters has reached level 20, all characters on your account will be able to use the cosmetic outfit system! You will need to log in with one of your 20+ characters to open the option up for the rest of your characters. Hope has been replaced with a new Radiance value; its benefits remain the same, however. Scrollcases that reveal tool recipes can now be found in loot. One-shot recipe scrolls can now be stacked in groups of 10. Two Important Notes All Kinships must now maintain a membership count of 8 or more. If your Kinship membership count drops below 8, it will be disbanded if you do not recruit enough members to meet the minimum within five(5) days. A special ring icon and an error are shown to a player if they try to access Mines of Moria content but have not purchased the expansion.
Had big issue with FAT32 Formatted drive & Mines of Moria Updater See this post for more info.
Hi all! Mines of Moria is coming Nov 18th! Edit: Some Bonus info from Erkenwulf who's playing the beta (and the NDA has been lifted): A quick summary of some of the new features: *A keyring *Most quest items now go into a magical 'quest bag' which never gets full, and you can't view the contents of either. (Quests still show you how many more items you need to collect, however. Quests which have items which you need to use do not go in the bag.) *You must complete Vol2, Bk6 before you can get inside Lothlorien. You can still run around in the zone outside the East Gate (as you can see above). *According to someone who is further along than I, you can get to about Vol2, Bk4, Ch3 before you need to group. I'm current on V2B3C3 and have only had one quest where grouping might have helped. Heres a bit of an overview from moria.lotro.com Massive addition of content: - Advance to level 60 - 4 races - 9 classes (new classes being added Warden & Rune-Keeper) - 10 Professions - 7 Vocations - over 1,000 Titles, skills & Traits - Over 3,500 Monsters & 700 Authentic Landmarks - 85 Million Square Meters of Middle-Earth Plus, Continue the epic Story line: - 3 New Regions - 22 expansive areas of Moria - New Graphics technology with stunning vistas & towering columns of stone! - 800 New monsters - Watcher in the Water, an epic raid! Wield Legendary Power: - Design & create Legendary Items as renowned as Bilbo's Sting! - Your gear evolves and grows in power along with you. Monster Battles: Monster vs player (PvMP) (this is so fun!) with new artifact Control & leader board. This is of course just a tiny overview of quite a massive update.
