I had been scouring all of the land for news of Scorgrimms passing or anything that could lead me to him.During my stay in Bree I came across two men by the names of Denfare of Rohan, and Ehudd of Gondor. They explained to me how much Bree and the lands around it had been suffering. They told me told me that, during their travels they came across a band of thieves called the Blackwolds and had been captured by them and were imprisoned in their encampment. They had been sharing a cell  with a ranger named Amdir who had purposely been captured in order to save two young hobbits who, apparently had been of some importance to them.Amdir had come up with a clever way to get the key to the cell and helped my two companions escape. But they were not going to stand by and let Amdir face the the brigands by himself so they came to his aid and, although, were able to helpthe hobbits escape, they were not able stop Amdir from getting pierced by what appeared to be a morgul blade. The five of them were able to escape alive,Though were not given a long enough rest, for during their stay at Archet an army of orcs along with Scorgrimm invaded the peaceful town. Before the night was through the townsmen of Archet and my friends managed to fight off the orcs but when all was done all traces of Amdirwere gone and he was nowhere to be found. We had all hoped that he was able to escape but that hope was gone when we came across a ranger, who there was called Strider. We finally heard the news of Amdirand were grieved. The blade that pierced his chest was indeed a Morgul blade and Amdir was being taken into the world of shadows and becoming one like the nine.We could not stand idle and let our friend torment and hurt,we were going to have to end his misery and put his life to an end.Strider (whose real name was Aragorn son of Arathorn heir to the throne of Gondor)had trusted us enough to send us on missions he had not the time for, wich took us from the fields of Bree-land,to the Old forest and the house of Tom Bombadil, and even to the dark reaches of the Barrow downs.

Years later I had returned to Edhelion by the request of a group of young scholars digging in the ruins for anything that had been preserved in the dirt. When i had arrived Edhelion wasn’t as I once knew it,instead of tall and proud it was unseen, covered by mountains and buried in ruins.During my stay I had realized that, though I had come there for an excavation I ran into a war.Goblins and dwarves working together for some evil purpose, but it was not any group of dwarves,it was the Dourhands, descendants of the evil Scorgrimm come back for vengeance.Elrond lord of rivendell sent his sons Eledon and Elrohir to find out what was disturbing Ered Luin.During there time here Elrohir, searching for clues stumbled upon a goblin encampment disguised as an old abandoned mine. When I heard the news of him leaving and not returning I made my way into the mines where I found Elrohir surrounded by numerous goblins. Before Elrohir had a chance to reveal to me the plot behind the alliance of dwarves and goblins we discovered that the goblins had grown bold, for they had attacked us out of random.Though we were outnumbered we were able to fight them off,Elrohir then assured me that he was uninjured and had not been harmed,he then revealed to me the plot of the Dourhands, they were attempting to resurrect Scorgrimm and revive the Dourhand army of long ago.Elrohir told me that he knew where the tomb was and that i should go to Dwalin (chief dwarf of his band of longbeards)and should inform him of this news. After Dwalin had heard the news of what had happened in the mines he and I made our way into the mine to meet with Elrohir and end this, but all did not go as planned.Elrohirhad been captured and it was up to us to rescue him and stop the resurrection.Though we had slain many goblins and dwarves and rescued Elrohir from capture we had not succeeded in what we had hoped,we did not stop the resurrection but we had wounded them long enough to prepare for what was up next.I eventually encountered Scorgrimm who had successfully been revived but was not able to meet him in battle for me and my companions were overrun by goblins and dwarves who had come from the hill-side to give Scorgrimm his chance to escape. We did defeat his soldiers but Scorgrimm escaped from our grasp thanks to his army which had seemed to be growing. Now this is all an unpleasant memory but not a forgotten one,I have made an oath to hunt down and defeat Scorgrimm and stop his army once and for all,and if the dealings of Angmar do not get in my way it will be done soon.

The Battle for Middle-Earth Ch. 1

After all I have seen and heard I have decided to write a journal hoping that if I fall in battle it may prove useful and that someone may gather information from it.I will start at the turning point in my life,The battle of Edhelion.I was overjoyed when i was told that i could take up arms and fight for my people, that is before i had a taste of battle, before I heard the screams of pain and had witnessed those who i loved and cherished fall in battle, then it overtook me.The first time I actually took up my bow and fought in battle was at the fall of Edhelion. The enemy had made there advance into the city and there numbers were far greater than ours, though we did not let that stop us it only drove us further,it drove us to show the Dourhands that the elves would not go down without a fight.A few of my companions and I were making our advance toward the front gate hoping that we could slow the dwarves and goblins from entering, then we found that it was not only dwarves and goblins we had to worry about, but there pet a snow troll as well. When all hope was lost and the gate came crumbling down lord Elrond of Rivendell came to our aid and had slain the troll single-handedly.With Elrond at our side we made our way to where the cause of all of these troubles were,a tower that held ancient artifacts that the dourhands wanted there hands on.We then found a friend of ours who was being confronted by Scorgrimm, the very dwarf that led the attack on our home.In a last effort our elven friend brought the walls down not only on Scorgrimm but himself as well, but his death was not in vain for with his courage and bravery he had ended the troubles of the dourhand and brought peace to Edhelion,or so we thought. In our effort to stop the dourhands advance and to save our city,in the end it was only destroyed and left in ruins and it is so to this very day, resting there as a landmark frozen in time to remind us what we had fought for and what we are still fighting for.

A darker Plot at Hand

The Dunadain are slowly diminishing, scattered across the far reaches of Eriador and I,by no chance, have come across one at the inn of the Prancing Pony who goes by the name of Strider. He told me and my companions,Ehudd and Denfare,of the sorry state his fellow ranger Amdir was in.He had been stabbed by a morgul blade while trying to rescue two hobbits who had been captured by the blackwold and was passing into the realm of shadow, becoming as terrible as the nine themselves. We had no choice but to end his misery and put a stop to his rampage.Strider then informed us that the cause of all of these troubles was that the One Ring had passed into the hands of a Hobbit named Frodo Baggins and that the dark lord Souron is seeking out his treasure. In all of our quests and adventures we had eventualy come to the Old Forest and to the house of Tom Bombadil Master of the Forest. He then took us into the Barrow Downs,a place of great evil where the bones and corpses are now the bodies of evil spirits called the Barrow Wights. We then discovered that the Witch-King and Scorgrimm the leader of the Dourhands had been planning there next move in one of the tunnels there, however we were not able to stop them, for they had been gaurded by the king of the wights and his army of dead.Over powerd and out numbered we were forced to retreat and fled back to the Forsaken inn to replenish our streangth. Now our only hope is to cause a distraction long enough to give Frodo time to get to safety, for the fate of Middle-Earth is now in his hands.

When first I heard the tales of an army gathering in Angmar,I was convinced it was only folk tales and myths, that is until I ventured out of my home in Mirkwood. Then I witnessed what was taking place under my very nose.I decided to make for Bree to see if i could gather any news of what was causing this disturbance.I found that not even the roads were safe from the goblins of Mordor.I discovered that the people of Bree were having problems of there own,so I offered them my help.At first it was only odd jobs but before I knew it,i was traveling from city to city delivering equipment,to cleansing ruins,to even infiltrating the enemies camp site and laying waste to them and there leader. In my journey I came across two men who went by Ehudd of Gondor and Denfare of Rohan who were fighting for the same purpose. In our travels we discovered an inn east of Bree in the Lone-Lands who were under attack from goblins,orcs,half-orcs,along with there wargs from Isengard. It was at that moment when we discovered the danger that was present, how desperately we were needed. We are now trying to bring together the free peoples of Middle-Earth to stand against the evil Witch-King and his dark army.
